Marinades & Sauces:

Marinades and sauces – a term used for liquid condiments generally used with all meats prior to cooking or after cooking. Marinades are generally used by consumers to soak or marinade cuts of meat, chicken or fish to impart flavour and sometimes also to improve texture due to their tenderising effect. Sauces are generally more of a condiment used after cooking – eg. a garlic sauce used on a grilled steak or baked potato.
